ACC representatives recently provided insights to the General Accountability Office (GAO) regarding future forecasts on advanced air mobility (AAM) and implications for airport and vertiport infrastructure. The GAO is currently conducting this study at the request of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and is exploring various scenarios on AAM growth in the next 5-10 years, the types of ground-based infrastructure needed to accommodate AAMs, and various funding/financing options to support infrastructure. Participating on behalf of ACC were Roeland Visser (InterVISTAS) and Jeroen Olthof (InterVISTAS), Gael Le Bris (WSP), and Johnny Jackson (Jacobs).
