The U.S. Congress has cleared legislation for the President’s signature that removes the federal debt ceiling until 2025. The bill also establishes a two-year limit on spending and targeted funding cuts. Unallocated funds given to airports for pandemic relief will be revoked, but it will not affect the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding.
