The ACC Advocacy Committee hosted its second quarter Washington Update on Monday, which was well attended by ACC members. The briefing featured a discussion on how member companies and individuals can proactively engage in the political process. Guest speaker Matt Reiffer, American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) Vice President of Infrastructure Programs, joined Ally Fields (Crawford, Murphy & Tilly) and Chad Nixon (McFarland Johnson) in providing specific tactics that ACC members can use to advocate on key airport priorities. The briefing also included updates on the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) reauthorization and appropriations process. ACC members can view a recording on the ACC Advocacy webpage.
