ACC Legislative Action Alert: Show Your Support for H.R. 3935

ACTION ALERT – Show Your Company’s Support for H.R. 3935 to Congressional Leaders

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2024 (H.R. 3935) is still pending on the Senate floor as agreements are being negotiated on some key issues. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is working to push for movement on the bill, get closure on pending amendments, and bring the measure for a final vote. With the current FAA authorization extension expiring this Friday, May 10, a short-term extension may be necessary to keep the agency operating, or perhaps there may be a lapse of a few days.

ACC is joining other airport and aviation industry organizations in pushing Congress to approve the bill as soon as possible, to avoid potentially bumping the reauthorization to next year. Congressional transportation leaders have asked individual companies to add their company’s name in support of H.R. 3935, which can be done by filling out this form. Please work to get authorization from your company to fill out the form, and consider sending a separate letter supporting H.R. 3935 as requested by House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Staff. You can find ACC’s letter that was sent last week here.

ACC will be hosting its second quarter Washington Update on Thursday, May 23, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. EDT.
