The Senate passed the historic Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) on Sunday through a budget reconciliation process, which the House of Representatives is expected to approve Friday. The bill includes a provision that provides $297 million to establish “a competitive grant program for eligible entities to carry out projects located in the United States that produce, transport, blend, or store sustainable aviation fuel, or develop, demonstrate, or apply low-emission aviation technologies.”
