This week, ACC submitted a list of key priority focus areas in the upcoming Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) reauthorization process to the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. The current FAA authorization expires on Sept. 30, 2023. ACC convened an FAA Reauthorization Task Force and solicited recommendations from ACC’s technical committee members. The initial priority areas will be further developed in the coming weeks, and ACC is planning to meet with staff from the Senate Commerce Committee to walk through recommendations.
