ACC President T.J. Schulz facilitated the first meeting of a working group that is exploring opportunities to improve the security screening process for passengers with disabilities this week at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The working group is organized under the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC) and was formed to develop recommendations to the TSA on ways to improve security processing for passengers with disabilities. The working groups consists of diverse stakeholders including disability representatives, FAA, TSA, airlines, and airports.
