ACC News | July is Disability Pride Month

Accessibility has become one of the key focal points of ACC’s DEI framework over the last 2 years. Air travel for people with disabilities has historically been very challenging. ACC is committed to working with and supporting organizations, laws, and policies with the aim of making air travel a safer and more inclusive experience.

Organizations like Open Doors Organization are doing just that. ODO is a non-profit disability advocacy organization founded in 2000 with the mission to make goods and services accessible to people with disabilities in travel, tourism, and transportation. Through research on the needs and travel patterns of people with disabilities, ODO teaches businesses how to succeed in the disability market, while simultaneously empowering the disability community. We are excited to work with Open Doors toward the mission of making aviation accessible to all.
