The ACC Engineering Committee gathered comments on draft Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5370-10J, Standard Specifications for Construction of Airports over the past 6 weeks and submitted to the FAA on Friday, June 13. The comments were solicited through a working group lead by Nick Makhlouf (C&S Companies), with members tasked with gathering, reviewing, sorting, reconciling, and finalizing the comments in advance of submission to the FAA. Members included electrical engineers, civil engineers, airport construction professionals, airport pavement experts, and manufacturers. The final comment matrix contained over 900 comments that will be considered for incorporation into the final version of AC 150/5370-10J.
