The FAA is now accepting applications for two Aviation Workforce Development Grant programs. The goal of these programs is to grow and develop a more diverse group of candidates of aviation professionals like pilots and aviation maintenance technicians. The two being offered, Aircraft Pilots Workforce Development Grant and Aviation Maintenance Technical Workers Workforce Development Grants, are open until Jun 10, 2022 with a total of $10 million available. Eligible entities may apply for grants ranging from $25,000 to $500,000 for each grant per fiscal year. Last year, the FAA awarded $10 million in grants to more than 30 schools and organizations.
