The Airport Consultants Council sent a letter supporting the nomination of Phillip Washington as the next FAA Administrator to leaders of the Senate Commerce Committee. “The FAA is at a critical juncture and needs visionary leadership to help navigate the agency in a thoughtful and collaborative way,” stated ACC President T.J. Schulz. “Without question, Mr. Washington has the experience and credentials necessary to lead the FAA. “FAA needs a strong manager, and we are confident that Phil brings the experience and leadership to help solve our nation’s aviation challenges.”
