Continuing ACC’s efforts to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the industry, the leadership of ACC’s Security Committee met this week with key decision makers from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to discuss the agency’s DEI programs and initiatives. The Security Committee is intending to host a comprehensive briefing on this topic to provide information to ACC members regarding TSA’s internal DEI goals and programs and discuss their efforts to improve the facilitation of passengers with disabilities through the checkpoint screening process. TSA participants included Christine Griggs, Assistant Administrator for Civil Rights & Liberties and Travel Engagement, Steve Diminuco, Special Advisor/Office of the Administrator, and Jose Bonilla, Director of the Traveler Engagement Office.
