Congress Clears FAA Reauthorization Bill

ACC joined numerous airports and aviation associations in celebrating the passage of H.R. 3935, the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024. “ACC commends leadership in the House and Senate for reaching agreement on a bipartisan, bicameral long-term FAA reauthorization bill,” said ACC President T.J. Schulz. “We look forward to rolling up our sleeves and getting to work in delivering needed capacity and safety projects at airports across the country.”

The bill reflects many key priorities that have been advocated by ACC, including:

  • Increased funding for AIP to $4 billion per year

  • Important reforms to the AIP program that increase eligibility for projects

  • Streamlines approvals for PFC applications
