The 2022 ACC Board of Directors and ACC staff members met for the first ever board retreat in Virginia this week. The purpose of this retreat was to set the stage for exciting initiatives coming next year. Discussions focused on identifying best practices in board governance and furthering education on key aspects related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Peter Kirsch (Kaplan, Kirsch, & Rockwell) and Stacee Barkley, Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leader at DPR Construction, led insightful workshops that provided the board with tools that will strengthen governance and ACC policies over the next year.
