THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect Personal Information voluntarily provided by you, including your first name, last name, mailing address, email address, phone number, fax number, credit card information, food allergies, username, and/or password, in connection with your use of our website, webinars, learning management system and other ACC applications, as well as their respective features. The information requested depends on the feature offered and the application used.
WHERE WE STORE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information collected is housed on secure servers in ACC’s office and/or on the secure servers supported by third-party technology vendors. By visiting our website/webinar/learning management system, you consent to the collection, processing, transfer, and storage of such data.
HOW WE USE AND SHARE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
ACC reserves the right to use both Personal and Non-Personal Information, individually or combined together, to: facilitate use of the website/webinar/learning management system and their respective features; communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, and process your requests; enhance and improve our marketing and promotional efforts, website content, user experience, and products and services; better understand your interests and preferences; and provide you with relevant information. ACC and ACC Members Foundation may also share your Personal Information with each other and with select fulfillment and service providers and other agents to fulfill your requests and orders; perform analytics; conduct research or surveys; provide you with information and updates; and maintain, improve, and deliver website content, our services, and advertising. We use technology to identify prospective members and users and market ACC products and services to them. In addition, we grant access to lists containing your contact information to third parties that support ACC’s mission and goals. We may share your contact details with other members and supporters. Information provided by members of ACC may be made available to other members and supporters through the member 2 directory, ACC event applications, or attendee lists at our conferences and events. Where we do offer you choices about managing you contact information, or receiving marketing messages from ACC, we will honor them. The website and other applications deployed by ACC, event badge scanners, mobile applications, and exhibit appointment tools, may provide interactive features where you can connect with other users. If you choose to share Personal Information with other users or otherwise make your information publicly available, we will use the information you provide to facilitate such sharing, administer your account, customize the services provided, and send you communications and notices related to the services. Some of these features may provide you with the means to control whether or not certain information about you is viewable to other users and to control what communications and notices you receive from us. Other instances where information sharing may be appropriate: We will not otherwise share your Personal Information without your consent except (i) to safeguard the website, intellectual property, users, or the rights of third parties, (ii) to investigate violations of our Terms and Conditions, (iii) as required by law or in response to a court order or legal request, or (iv) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.
We use data encryption. We strive to employ reasonable security measures to protect Personal Information from loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or use. Credit card information is encrypted during transmission to our site using secure socket layer technology (SSL), and we adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard for handling credit card information. Internet security is not failsafe: Users are warned, however, that the Internet is not a 100% secure medium, and we do not guarantee that our security and privacy measures are failsafe. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information. Voluntary information sharing: In addition, when you use certain services or applications, or post on a
forum, chat room, or social networking service on this site or other ACC sites and applications, the Personal Information you share may be visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. We are not responsible for any such Personal Information that you choose to submit.
INFORMATION ACCURACY, RETENTION AND ACCESS

- To request removal from email communications from ACC, please contact ACC directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- To request your information with ACC be deleted or returned to you, please contact ACC directly at email@example.com.
We may decline to process requests that are unreasonable, impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required, by applicable law. Inquiries related to GDPR privacy laws not addressed above may be directed to Admin@ACConline.org. If you are a citizen of the EU and are not satisfied with the response to your request, you may file a complaint with the European Data Protection Supervisor.
COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

Our advertisers may contract with a third-party service to host their ads, in which case an ad serving vendor contacts the advertisers’ hosting service for a particular advertisement. An independent cookie may be used by the third-party service, but we do not have a mechanism to allow visitors to opt-out of cookies from vendors with whom we do not have a contractual relationship.
CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents who provide Personal Information are entitled to request and obtain from us once per calendar year information about the customer information we shared, if any, with unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes, including the categories of information and names and addresses of third parties with whom we shared the information for their marketing purposes. Requests via telephone or facsimile will not be accepted. Your request will be processed within thirty (30) days of the date on which we receive it. We are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or do not have complete information. Please note that not all information sharing is covered by the California law. Our response will include only information relating to our sharing practices for information covered by the law.
